👋 Introduction

Welcome to our step-by-step guide on setting up the Pixelmon Modpack on a Minecraft server. This guide is will go over everything you need to know in order to create a Minecraft server with the Pixelmon modpack. Before we begin, we need to go over a few things you'll need to know:

🚨 What You'll Need

  • Memory Requirements: For a great Pixelmon experience, your server should have at least 6GB of RAM for the Modpack itself. More RAM may be needed to accomodate more players. It's suggested to have at least 8GB of RAM to operate a Pixelmon Server with 5 players.

  • Modpack Compatibility: Ensure you have the version of the Pixelmon Modpack that is compatible with your server installed on your CurseForge app/launcher. Here is a guide on getting modpacks via CurseForge.
