Help CenterFabric offers some of the best Minecraft mods out there, so let's go over how to get Fabric on your Minecraft server with SimpleGameHosting.
⚠️ Note: Switching server versions will result in some files being deleted from your server. We recommend backing up your server before changing versions, just in case.
Step 1: Navigate to Your Server on The Control Panel
Start off by logging into the SimpleGameHosting Control Panel.
If you have yet to login to the panel, you can find our guide on getting started with it here.
After logging in, select the server you want to add Fabric to.
Step 2: Select the Versions Tab
From here, you can click the "Modpacks" tab in the menu bar.
Then select the "Version Manager" tab inside the "Modpacks" menu on your panel.
Step 3: Install Fabric on Your Minecraft Server
In the versions tab, locate the "Minecraft Version selector" section. Click the drop-down menu and select "Fabric".
All of the Minecraft versions in which Fabric is available for will appear.
To install Fabric on your Minecraft server, click the "Install" button under the version of Fabric you want. A popup will open that warns you about potential data loss when changing your server version. Back up your server if you don't want to lose any data.
To start the installation, click the "Install" button on this menu. Fabric will then begin installing.
After it is finished, a "Version changed successfully" message will appear.
Step 4: Activate Fabric
To finish adding Fabric to your Minecraft server, go to the "Console" page and click the "Start" button. Your server will activate with Fabric installed. You may need to click "Restart" if your server is already running.
