How to Download & Install Overwolf

Installing and Setting Up Overwolf

🛑Stop: Before you begin, make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for Overwolf. You can review the requirements by clicking here. Once you have confirmed that your desktop or laptop is compatible, you are ready to begin the installation process.

1. Visit the official Overwolf Appstore.

2. Click the Download Overwolf button.

• You will find this button in the top right corner of the screen.

3. After the download is complete, open the file to start the installation. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

4. Once installation is finished, click the Launch button at the bottom right of the installer window.

5. When Overwolf opens, click the Login button to sign up for a new account. If you already have an account, you can simply enter your credentials to log in.

Accessing the Overwolf Appstore

Once you have successfully installed the Overwolf app, you can open the Appstore in one of two ways:

• Right-click the Overwolf icon in your taskbar and select Appstore from the menu.

• Click the Overwolf icon in your Taskbar to open the dock, then click the Appstore icon, which looks like a small box.

Installing CurseForge Through the Overwolf Appstore

While there are many useful Minecraft apps to explore, this guide will walk you through how to install CurseForge, one of the most popular platforms for finding, installing, and managing Minecraft mods and modpacks. 

1.  Click the search icon to the right of the Appstore, which looks like a magnifying glass. Type "CurseForge" into the search bar until the app appears in the results.

2. Hover your mouse over the CurseForge app and click the Install button. 

• Wait for the installation to finish. Once complete, the CurseForge welcome screen will appear with an option to continue. Click Continue to proceed.

💡Tip: For a smoother experience, we recommend creating or logging into a CurseForge account. This makes it easier to manage your mods and modpacks across devices.

3. Select the Minecraft game towards the top left of the app. You can now browse mod. modpack, shader, texture, or resource packs by clicking the Browse tab located at the top center of the CurseForge app.

• When you find a mod. modpack, shader, texture, or resource pack you want, click Install, and you’re all set! 
• In this example, we're installing the All the Mods 10 modpack. 

4. After everything is installed, click the Modpacks tab located at the top left of the CurseForge app. Find the profile or modpack you want to play, then click the Play button to launch it.
