How To See Coordinates in Minecraft

Coordinates are a useful tool that can help orient yourself in your world, or otherwise assist in leading yourself to either your friends or lost items in the event of an unfortunate accident. Thankfully, Both Bedrock and Java have a built-in options that you can enable to view your current position at any time!

Bedrock

To enable coordinates in Bedrock, you'll need to have Cheats enabled. If you're playing on a server, you'll also have to be OP'd in order to have access to the gamerule command. Enabling Coordinates can be done by using /gamerule showcoordinates true in the chatbox:Once done, you'll see them in the top left:

Java

Java Edition can be done at any time, with or without cheats or being OP'd. It is done using the debug menu, which can be accessed by pressing F3. You'll be met with a wall of text, but the area you're looking for is the XYZ area closer to the top left, as marked below:
