How To Rename an Instance on Your Server

Accidentally mistype your instance name? Maybe you're changing an older instance to something new and need a new name. Either way, this guide will show you how to rename your older instance.

Step 1: Accessing the Control Panel

With your server purchased and the appropriate amount of RAM selected, we can move to adding the modpack to your server. Luckily, this can be done in just a few clicks. 

First things first, you will need to access the SimpleGameHosting Contol Panel. Then, login to your account.

Step 2: Make Your Way to the Instances Tab

Once you're logged in, you can find the instances tab at the top of your panel.

Step 3: Delete the Instance

Once in the instances tab, you'll just need to hit the 3 dots next to the instance you want to change the name of, then hit rename!

After that, you're good to go and your instance name is changed!
