Here is a guide on joining your SimpleGameHosting Minecraft Server on PlayStation.
🛑 Note: Joining a Minecraft Server on PlayStation requires you to change the DNS settings first. This is included below.
- Go to your PlayStation Home Screen.
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Network.
- Select Set Up Internet Connection
- If you are using wired internet (ethernet connection), select "Use LAN Cable." If you are on Wi-Fi, select "Use Wi-Fi."
- Select the Custom Network Creation Mode.
- Select Automatic IP Address.
- For DHCP Host Name, make sure you select Do Not Specify.
- Under DNS Settings, select Manual.
- Enter the IP
173.82.100.84
for the preferred Primary DNS. - Enter
8.8.8.8
for the Secondary DNS. - Save these settings.
- Now, open Minecraft on your PlayStation.
- Click the Play button in Minecraft.
- Navigate to Server and select any of the available servers to open the server list. Connect to one of these servers. If the first doesn't work, try another.
- Once in-game, click Connect to a Server.
- Fill in the Server Address and Server Port fields with your server's unique IP and Port.
- If you are using Geyser, this will be the Geyser IP and Port. This is what you find on the Panel and have used to connect to the server previously.
- Click submit. You will join the server.
