Here is a quick guide on joining your SimpleGameHosting Minecraft Server on Nintendo Switch.

🛑 Note: Joining a Minecraft Server on Switch requires you to change the DNS settings first. This is included below.
  1. On your Switch Home Screen, navigate to System Settings
  2. Navigate to Internet
  3. Click Internet Settings and select your current network under Registered Networks.
  4. Locate the DNS Settings option and select Manual
  5. Select the Primary DNS Option and set the value to: 104.238.130.180
  6. Select the Secondary DNS option and enter your desired secondary DNS. For this example, we'll use Cloudflare's DNS: 8.8.8.8
  7. Click Save and select Connect to This Network
  8. Now, Open Minecraft on your Switch
  9. Click the Play button in Minecraft
  10. Navigate to Servers and select any of the available servers to open the server list. Connect to one of these servers. If the first doesn't work, try another.
  11. Once in-game, click Connect to a Server.
  12. Fill in the Server Address and Server Port fields with your server's unique IP and Port. This is what you find on the Panel and have used to connect to the server previously.
  13. Click Submit, and you will join the server.
