How To Join Your Minecraft Server

In order to join your server, we will need to get the IP address from the server control panel. 

Logging Into the SimpleGameHosting Control Panel

When you purchase your server, you will receive an email with the subject “Account Created.”

This email will have a "Setup Your Account" button. Click this button, and the SimpleGameHosting control panel will open. 

You will be prompted to create and confirm a password. Once you do, you will be logged into the panel. 

If you already have created a password, you will be taken to a page where you can select your server. 

Getting Your Server’s IP Address

Once you have logged into the SimpleGameHosting control panel, select the server by clicking on it. 

You will be taken to the server's "Console" page. On this page, you will see a string of numbers in a 192.189.17.45:25565 format at the top. These numbers will be different for your server. This is your IP address. 

Click the IP address here to copy it.

Joining Your Minecraft Server

Now that you have the IP address for your server, you can take this IP address and use it to join your server.

From Minecraft Java Edition, select "Multiplayer" from the main menu. Then, click the "Add Server" button at the bottom of the Multiplayer Menu. 

For the server’s name, enter anything you want. For the IP Address, paste the IP address you got from the server’s control panel. 

Once you enter the name and IP address, click ‘Done’ to save the server to your multiplayer menu.

Double-click the server in the multiplayer menu to join it.
