How to Enable Keep Inventory on Minecraft Servers

Learn how to enable keep inventory in Minecraft on both singleplayer and servers allowing you to always keep your server even if you die making sure you don't lose progress if you accidentally fall in lava. Let's get started!

For Your Server:

Step 1: Log Into Your Simple Game Hosting Server

1. The first step in changing your server's seed is to log in to your server's control panel. 

2. Open a new tab in your browser and navigate to: panel.simplegamehosting.com.undefined3. Enter your login information in the fields shown. Click Login to access your server's panel.

Step 2: Input the Command in the Console

For servers, it's as simple as inputting the command in the console here!

The command is:

/gamerule keepInventory true

The syntax is important, don't forget the capital i!For Singleplayer/In-Game:

If you're wanting to run the command in game from your server, you will need to be op'd. Here is a guide on how to do that.

If you're in singleplayer and wanting to do that, you will need to turn on the "enable commands" option for java or "enable cheats" option for bedrock. For Bedrock, you can check that Keep Inventory button there as well!Then, once in game, in the chat box just run the command!

The command is:

/gamerule keepInventory true
