If you keep getting kicked for flying on your Minecraft server, this article will show you how to enable flight on your server to stop yourself from getting kicked when flying.
Step 1: Accessing the File Manager in the Control Panel
First things first, you will need to login to the SimpleGameHosting Game Control Panel. We have a complete guide on accessing the control panel if you haven't done so yet.
Once you have logged in, select the server you want to enable fly on.
Then, click on the "File Manager" tab in the menu bar. This is where all of your server's files and folders can be accessed.
Step 2: Open The “server.properties” File
In the File Manager, find the "server.properties" files and click on it to open it and start editing the file.
Step 3: Change The "allow-flight" Settting
- Locate the "allow-flight" setting
- Change this setting to "allow-flight=true"
- Click the "Save Content" button to save the change you just made.
Step 4: Restart Your Server
In order for the allow-flight setting to be activated on your server, you will need to restart the server.
This is super easy. Just click the "File Manager" tab, and click the "Start" or "Restart" button on your server. This will close and reopen your server enabling flight when it starts back up!
