How To Enable Command Blocks on a Minecraft Server

Enabling command blocks will allow you to add and use command blocks in your minecraft server. Here's a quick and easy guide to get you through it:

Step 1: Accessing the File Manager in the Control Panel 

First things first, you will need to login to the SimpleGameHosting Game Control Panel. We have a complete guide on accessing the control panel if you haven't done so yet. 

Once you have logged in, select the server you want to enable command blocks.

Then, click on the "File Manager" tab in the menu bar. This is where all of your server's files and folders can be accessed.

Step 2: Open the server.properties File 

In the File Manager, find the "server.properties" files and click on it to open it and start editing the file.

Step 3: Change the enable-command-block Setting

  1. Locate the "enable-command-block" setting
  2. Change this setting to "enable-command-block=true"
  3. Click the "Save Content" button to save the change you just made.

Step 4: Restart Your Server

This part is super easy. Go back to the console tab on your panel page, then hit restart next to the console line.
