Help CenterNeoForge is one of many options for you to utilize mods for your installation of Minecraft. This guide will be a brief guide on how to install this on your own system.
Using CurseForge
The easiest way to install mod loaders is typically going to be through an app like CurseForge or Modrinth. In our case, I will be showing the process for CurseForge, of which you can download from here.
Making a New Profile
First, make a new profile by going to the Minecraft tab, then pressing Create
This will give you a popup where you can name the profile, select your minecraft version, select which modloader we want (NeoForge in our case), and what NeoForge loader version we want. Set these as desired, then press Create
Wait for the installation to complete (it should show the play button following its completion)
From here, you can add mods as desired!

CurseForge not your style? Perhaps you prefer the classic way? NeoForge has a standalone installer just for you!
Downloading NeoForge
NeoForge's versions can all be found following this link.
From here, you can select the Minecraft Version you want, as well as the Modloader version. Typically, the most recent version is going to be the best, but do be mindful of beta releases, as they can be unstable or buggy.
I'll just be using the most recent version again. Wherever you've saved the file from, run it.
If you get a popup like the one below, be sure to use the Java option as listed
Installing NeoForge
The program will open a small window with installer settings.
In our case, we'll want to use the Install Client option. Do check that the directory matches up with your .minecraft folder as listed above, typically under AppData\Roaming\. If for whatever reason it is elsewhere, be sure to set that as it's directory instead, then press Proceed.
The installer will set up everything from here. Once it's done, you should get this popup
Launching NeoForge
Open your Minecraft Launcher. By default, the installation should have automatically set NeoForge as the launch option
If not, go to the installations tab
Press New Installation
Then set a name, and find the installed NeoForge version from the list within the Versions dropdown, then press Install.
Then, you can simply return to the Play tab and play NeoForge!
