How To Cancel Your Server Hosting

All good things must come to an end, and in this guide, we show you how to cancel your Minecraft server hosting with SimpleGameHosting.

❓For clarification, we do NOT have to approve cancellation requests. These are merely so we have an opportunity to reach out to you if you're having a problem with your server that we may be able to fix. Regardless, your server will cancel at the end of its billing cycle, allowing you to continue using your server until the next renewal cycle.

Step 1: Login to The Billing Area

To cancel your server, you will need to login to the Billing Area. Your billing account was originally created when you purchased your server. 

You can easily reset your password if you need to, though. 

Step 2: Select Your Services

When you login, you will immediately see a "Services" box on the page. Click this to be taken to a page where you will see all of your active SimpleGameHosting products. 

Step 3: Choosing The Server You Want to Cancel

If you have multiple servers, it is important to select the server you want to cancel. Otherwise, just select the server you want to cancel. 

Step 4: Canceling Your Server

With the server selected, click the "Request Cancelation" button. 

Once you have selected Request Cancellation, you will go to a page where you have to enter a reason for your cancelation. This can be brief.  

⚠️ Your server will automatically cancel at the End of Billing Period. It will remain active until them. Canceling will not result in a refund per our terms of service. You must reach out to support for this.  

With your Cancelation Type selected, click the "Request Cancellation" button. 

Once you click the "Request Cancellation" button, you will be taken to a confirmation page. Your service will be canceled automatically at the end of your billing period.
