Help CenterAdding a subdomain can be tricky, but we made it simple! In this quick guide we'll show you how to set a subdomain for your server and join from it!
Step 1: Login to The SimpleGameHosting Panel
Login to the control panel. Once you are logged in, select the server you want to backup.
Step 2: Click the Add Subdomain Button
All you'll need to do is hit the Add Subdomain button, then you should get a pop-up.
Here you can set the name to whatever you'd like, then click "create subdomain"!
You're done! Your server now has a subdomain!
Alternatively, you can go to the settings tab as well!
Step 1: Head to the Settings Tab on Your Panel
Once in the settings tab, you should see something similar to this. Scroll down until you see this subdomain box.
Step 2: Set Your Subdomain Name
You can set your subdomain name here, then select which domain you would like. In this case, I selected "simpleminecrafthosting.com."
Keep in mind you can only change your subdomain name twice per hour. Be sure you spell everything correctly!
You're done! You should see something like this on your subdomain tab now:
And in the console tab, you can see your subdomain listed where the IP would be:
