Hytale is a lot of fun by yourself, but even more fun with friends! It'd be a shame if you had to abandon all your singleplayer progress when playing with friends. Lucky for you, it's possible to load your singleplayer world onto a Hytale server! This guide will give you step by step instructions on how to take any singleplayer world you have and put it onto your SimpleGameHosting server!
Step 1: Turn The Server Off
The first step you'll want to perform is ensuring that the server is turned off so we can properly add the needed files. To do this, you can head to the SimpleGameHosting Control Panel and head to the Console tab. Then click the red stop button if your server is online. If your server is already offline, then you're good to go on this step!

Step 2: Locating The World Files
After the server is turned off, you will need to locate the world files on your own PC before you can begin to get them onto the server. The good news is Hytale offers a very easy way to locate where the world files are. When on the main menu, you'll first want to click the WORLDS button on the main menu, and then right click on the world you want to upload to your server. Once you're in that menu, you should see an Open Folder button.

Click on this button and your operating systems default file explorer should open up to a folder that looks like this.

The important folder we want to access here is the universe folder.
Step 3: Upload The Universe
First, we want to compress the universe. The exact steps to do this will depend on the operating system you are using, but on Windows you can right click the universe folder and then hover over Compress to... and then click ZIP File.

Once you do that, a new file will be added to that folder named universe.zip. You can upload this to the server by clicking the Files tab on the panel.

Then, you can either click the upload button or drag the universe.zip file onto the webpage to upload it to the panel.
⬆️ If your world universes' filesize is larger than 300mbs, you will need to use SFTP to upload it onto the panel. You can follow our guide to setting up SFTP on your server, and ensure that you upload it to the correct folder.
After uploading, your server files should look a little bit like this.

Step 4: Replace The Old Universe
Now we need to stop the server from loading the old universe file. We are going to do this in a way where we keep a copy of the old universe just in case you want to go back to it. To do this, you can click the 3 dots to the right of the universe folder on the server and click rename.

Then rename the universe folder to universe-old.

Once the file is renamed, you can click the 3 dots to the right of the universe.zip file you uploaded and click unarchive to unpack the universe files onto the server.

Once fully unarchived, you should see a new universe folder next to universe-old. If you see those two, you know you've done this step correctly!

Step 5: Start Up The Server
With that, all the neccesary files are now uploaded! Click the Console button at the top of the panel to head back to your server's console.

Then you can click the purple Start button on the console to start up your server with your singleplayer world loaded on it!
