Nitwits / Baby Villagers

Nitwits (and baby villagers) are villagers who are incapable of obtaining any type of Villager job. Whereas Baby Villagers can grow up into a simple Unemployed villager, Nitwits will never be able to tend to any type of work. Nitwits are easily recognizable by their Green uniforms, and will shake their head at you if you attempt to trade with them.

Unemployed

The simple Unemployed villager is a malleable entity able to be turned into nearly whatever you desire by simply giving them a workstation. Unemployed Villagers simply have no job title yet, but will automatically gain one when a job becomes available. Unemployed villagers tend to wear brown clothing with no special garments.

Toolsmith

A trader of tools and weapons, Toolsmiths gain their jobs through Smithing Tables, and offer pickaxes, ores, and other items. They'll typically buy some types of ingots or coal in order to give you emeralds back for your work, so if you have spares, be sure to swing by the Blacksmith for a decent payout!

Armorer

Need something to protect yourself? The armorer may just have something you need! Armorers are given their titles by the use of Blast Furnaces, and as the name suggests, will tend to sell armor to players! Much like Blacksmiths, Armorers may buy ingots and coal to fund the player!

Fletcher

Fletchers are experts in arrows, and sell a bunch of them for rather cheap. If you have any interest in using bows, Fletchers are an essential for stocking your ammo! At higher levels, they also sell bows, some even enchanted. They'll also convert gravel into flint for a small fee of emeralds, and will also buy a lot of flint for emeralds.

Weaponsmith

When it comes down to it, all players will eventually need a weapon. If you haven't managed to craft yourself a decent one yet, trading with a Weaponsmith opens up a decent avenue for them. They work with Grindstones, and sell enchanted swords at even the novice level. Extremely useful for getting armed fast.

Cleric

Clerics are the backbone of Potions, and will sell you potion ingrediants while buying large amounts of Rotten Flesh. While they aren't the most lucrative, they hold a ton of potential for selling harder to obtain materials such as Lapis or Ender Pearls, or even Bottles O' Enchanting. They use Brewing Stands as their workstations, and are dressed in purple robes.

Librarian

Provider of books both enchanted and not, Librarians are another popular choice by players as they can provide essential enchantments for a relatively low price overall. This includes the Mending enchantment! They require a Lectern and typically buy Paper and Ink Sacs. Look for their glasses and white outfit to locate an existing Librarian!

Cartographer

Cartographers are a great source of income for players, as their trade for paper is quite lucrative if you have a decent Sugarcane farm for mass production of paper to sell. Not only this, but Cartographers also sell maps for Ocean, Land, and Trial Chamber exploration! They require a Cartography Table, and can be identified by their Monocle.

Leatherworker

Leatherworkers are another decent income source for Emeralds, buying Leather and, in exchange, providing you Emeralds. Extremely useful for those with a decent Cow pasture. Additionally, higher-level Leatherworkers can also sell you Saddles! They need a Cauldron to work, and can be identified by the Leather Gloves they wear.

Farmer

The Ol' Reliable, Farmers are another lucrative source of Emeralds. They buy various foods, such as Wheat or Carrots, and in exchange, fatten your pockets with more green. They also sell food as well, such as Golden Carrots or Suspicious Stew at higher levels! Composters allow them to work, and can be found wearing straw hats.

Fisherman

Fishermen are the experts of the sea, and mainly revolve around the selling of fish-based items, including Enchanted Fishing Rods! At max level, Fishermen will begin buying boats from you for an emerald a piece. It may take a while, but it is also a good backup for farming Emeralds. Fishermen need Barrels, and can be identified by the net and fishing hat they wear!

Butcher

Butchers deal in animal products, and mainly revolve around the buying of raw meat in exchange for giving players Emeralds. They also sell some cooked foods such as Rabbit Stew or Pork chop, which can help you in a pinch. Give them a Smoker and look for their white apron!

Shepherd

Shepherds revolve around Sheep, and their trades consist of the buying and selling of wool-based products. They'll buy specific colored wools and dyes, and sell items such as colored carpets and beds. They are extremely useful if you have a large number of Sheep to shear for their wool. They require a Loom, and can be identified by looking for their brown hat with a white apron.

Mason / Stone Mason

The Mason, or Stone Mason in Bedrock, focuses mainly upon trade revolving various types of stones. They'll buy up Stone, Andesite, and other rocky blocks, and sell you Bricks and Terracotta, among other things. Very useful for builders who do not wish to spend so much time gathering resources from the dark caves below, and for those looking to get rid of a few stacks of leftover rock from their mining adventures. Give them a Stonecutter, and look for their black gloves and apron.
