Concrete is a dyeable, stony block that can be created by placing Concrete Powder near or within Water to solidify it into a brand-new block. This guide will go over how to create this crafty colored chemical construction component!

Making the Concrete Powder

Concrete Powder is simple to create. You'll combine 4 Sand, 4 Gravel, and a dye within a crafting table in any shape to create some Concrete Powder:

Each batch makes 8 Concrete Powder!

Concrete Powder acts similar to Sand, except for one key difference: It hardens when exposed to water!

Turning to Concrete

To turn your Concrete Powder to Concrete, simply place the Powder next to any source of water. Be it running or still, any Concrete Powder that comes into contact with water will harden into a solid block of Concrete.

Notice the smoothness of the hardened Concrete on the right, compared to the sandy textured Powder on the left!

Hardened concrete can be collected with a pickaxe!
